Formerly a Bricks-and-Mortar night club inside Parkside Mall,
Savoy South Dance Hall now provides a wide geographic area with the
highest-quality dance parties in the region. Ten or more dances a month at
three great venues!
Savoy South often hosts dance nights featuring live music by outstanding
touring acts as well as the finest the Bay Area has to offer.

In 2000, Right Step Studio received a letter from Johanna
'Xenobia' Krynytzky explaining that she had recently graduated from the
University of Chicago and was moving to Florida. She wanted studio space to
see if she could get some belly dancing started in the area. Now, Johanna's
Hip Expressions Dance Studio is St Petersburg's best belly dance school, and
provides a catalyst for the local belly dance community. On her site you
